WHAT FANS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THE CAN FILM FESTIVAL
"I am so proud to have been part of the first CAN Film Festival.  The whole day was amazing, from the little kids asking for autographs to walking the red carpet to getting an award I will have on display always.  Just as important for me was the chance to meet other student filmmakers and to talk with so many people who encouraged me to keep making movies.  I love the CAN film Festival, and am already working on entries for next year.  Thanks for letting me in on the beginning.  I look forward to many more years of getting bigger and better together!"
--Alexander Knight
2008 winner, 10-14 age group
"After serving as a judge for the 2008 CAN Film Festival, I can see the growth potential this event has not only as a regionally recognized film festival, but as a fundraiser for the Child Abuse Network."
--Representative Lucky Lamons,
District 66
"Through our support of the Child Abuse Network and the CAN Film Festival, our foundation, company and employees have the opportunity to help ensure that our community offers protection and treatment to those most vulnerable in our midst:  abused children.  Congratulations, CAN, on 20 years of delivering vital care and a hope for a better life to these young and deserving members of our community."
--Stacy Schusterman,
Chair and CEO of Samson
